Lenovo building facilities to develop tablets, smartphones.
Chinese PC maker Lenovo plans to invest more than 5 billion yuan (US$796 million) to build facilities for the development and production of tablets, smartphones, and other mobile devices, it said Monday.

Apple New iPad battery Life not as good as predecessor
Apple has said that the third-generation iPad should equal the iPad 2 in battery life. However, PCWorld Labs battery-life tests show that, in a controlled environment, Apple's claims don't hold up: The new iPad lasted just 5 hours, 41 minutes, nearly 2 hours less than the iPad 2, which logged 7 hours, 37 minutes.

科學家發明了比原子鐘準確約 100 倍的單離子鐘，140 億年後才需要再校正
澳大利亞新南威爾斯大學的 Victor Flambaum 教授發明了一個可能到世界末日都仍然準確的「單離子時鐘」。Flambaum 指出，運用單離子技術計算的時鐘比現時最好的原子時鐘還要準確 100 倍左右，它能將時間單位計算到 19 個小數位。而原理就是通過激光去將電子以一個特別的形式「移動」（相信是持續性並依從著軌道移動），然後便可以用該個移動中的原子核中子構想成為「擺鐘裡的擺錘」，再量度它的「動作」，變成一個精確無比的時鐘.

就數據外洩問題嚴重， TREND Micro 與 Ponemon Institute 進行「 The Human Factor in Data Protection 」研究，該報告指出大多數據外洩均由於機構員工疏忽或蓄意造成，當中超過 78% 受訪機構指員工有意或無意的行為導致公司數據外洩，並於過去兩年內至少發生一宗數據外洩，令公司蒙受損失。
